JKS RESTAURANTS SIGNS RESTAURANT LEASE WITH GDSNY AT 1245 BROADWAY

The seven-Michellin-starred restaurant group will open a new restaurant in the SOM-designed building where tenants include star-studded A24 Films and 101 Studios

New York, NY – New York City-based GDS Development Management (GDSNY), and the Sweden based property owner Corem, announced today that they have signed a 15-year lease with the international award-winning restaurant group JKS Restaurants  (“JKS”) for a new 7,900-square-foot restaurant at the ground and lower levels at 1245 Broadway.

The new restaurant at 1245 Broadway will be the latest project from the restaurant group who hold a total of 7 Michelin stars and 4 Michelin Bib Gourmands, and are renowned for popular London restaurants, including Gymkhana (2 star), Kitchen Table (2 star), Trishna (1 star), Lyle’s (1 star), Sabor (1 star), BAO (Bib Gourmand), Berenjak (Bib Gourmand), Hoppers (Bib Gourmand), Plaza Khao Gaeng (Bib Gourmand), Brigadiers, BiBi, and Speedboat Bar.

1245 Broadway is a 23-story class-A office building at the corner of 31st Street and Broadway, in NoMAD, one of New York City’s most dynamic neighborhoods. Designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, the building features architectural cast-in-place concrete, large triple-glazed windows, a private club, and panoramic views of the city. The building is LEED-Gold certified and offers the very latest in touchless technology and air quality.

1245 Broadway, which has become known as the star-studded film and media headquarters for Manhattan, is home to A24 Films, who swept the Oscars in 2023 with 18 nominations and 9 wins including best picture, best director, best actress, and best actor. It is also the headquarters for 101 Studios, which produces the likes of Taylor Sheridan’s Yellowstone, 1923 and Tulsa King.
