New York, NY – Corem of Sweden, and New York City-based GDS Development Management (GDSNY) announced today that they have signed a 12-year lease at 1245 Broadway with WonderView Studios, the film and TV production company founded by Bob Yari and Marvin Peart. WonderView Studios has taken 8,300 square feet of office space over a full tower floor.
Bob Yari and Marvin Peart are the Founding Partners of 101 Studios Company, which produces the highly rated #1 show on television Taylor Sheridan’s “Yellowstone”, starring Kevin Costner, along with Sheridan’s upcoming series “Mayor of Kingstown,” starring Jeremy Renner, and “Tulsa King” starring Sylvester Stallone.
1245 Broadway is a 23-story class-A office building at the corner of 31st Street and Broadway, in NoMAD, one of New York City’s most dynamic neighborhoods. Designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, the building features architectural cast-in-place concrete, large triple-glazed windows, a private club, F&B catering to tenant floors, and panoramic views of the city. The building will be LEED-Gold certified and offers the very latest in touchless technology and air quality.
“We are very pleased to announce another signed lease at 1245 Broadway. This time with WonderView Studios. We see a continued trend by premium tenants to high-quality office buildings and consequently a strong continued recovery in the market for premium office buildings in New York”, says Eva Landén, Corem’s CEO.
“We are excited to welcome WonderView Studios to 1245 Broadway,” says Michael Kirchmann, CEO of GDSNY. “It is great to see yet another world-renown film studio taking space at 1245 Broadway, which is establishing itself as the premier film headquarters building in New York City.”
GDSNY and Corem were represented by Paul Amrich and Neil King of CBRE. Lee Polster of EOP Realty represented WonderView Studios.
