Matt has over 15 years of commercial real estate experience, and prior to joining GDSNY, Matt was a vice president at Blackstone where he managed over $2 billion of commercial real estate debt of all property types across the United States. Matt specialized in underwriting and restructuring investments to align a sponsor’s business plan progress with enhanced economics or credit support for investors. Prior to Blackstone, Matt worked with Deutsche Bank’s Special Situations Group on loan acquisitions and asset management. Matt graduated from the University of Wisconsin.
