GDSNY UNVEILS NEW OFFICE LOBBY DESIGN AT ONE SAINT MARK’S PLACE

New York, NY Today, GDS Development Management (GDSNY) unveiled a major upgrade to One Saint Mark’s Place with the debut of a new lobby design that reflects the firm’s hallmark excellence. Recently appointed to oversee leasing and development management at the nine-story, 60,000-square-foot boutique office building in Manhattan’s East Village, GDSNY is positioning the property for its next chapter.

“One Saint Mark’s Place is a beautiful building, and this lobby design completes the vision,  allowing us to fully elevate the arrival experience while setting a new standard for the interiors throughout,” said Michael Kirchmann, CEO and co-founder of GDSNY. “With high-quality materials, sophisticated design, and hospitality-led service, we’re reinforcing our commitment to creating best-in-class boutique office environments.”

One Saint Mark’s Place is defined by its contextual Belden brick facade, distinctive rounded southwest corners, and curved glass panels. The office space offers soaring 15-foot ceilings and expansive floor-to-ceiling windows that create bright, modern work environments. The building also includes three private terraces, panoramic views in all directions, and 24/7 concierge service.

The new lobby will feature a landscaped entry canopy, Jet Mist granite floors, silver travertine walls, integrated cove lighting, and custom Dinesen millwork. Building on GDSNY’s many successful design and development projects – including Met Tower, 1245 Broadway, and 28&7 – the new entry creates a striking arrival experience at one of the city’s most dynamic crossroads. The lobby will be completed in Q4 2026.

Located just steps from the Astor Place and 8th Street–NYU subway stations, One Saint Mark’s Place offers immediate access to the East Village’s renowned cultural, dining, retail, residential, and hospitality destinations, including Webster Hall, the Public Theater, and the Bowery Hotel. Sephora has leased the building’s 7,800-square-foot ground-floor retail space.
